of ring differs from another and this may alter your usual ring size.

Do bear in mind that more delicate rings tend to feel looser, which
may mean you wish to opt for a half or whole size down from your regular
size. Meanwhile the wider the band/ring, the tighter the ring will
feel, so you may find it more comfortable to choose either a half or
whole size larger.

Be mindful of which finger you would like your gift/ring to fit on,
as each finger size can vary a lot. Please also be aware that ring size
can fluctuate due to weather conditions and fluid retention, especially
during menstruation. It’s best to take this into consideration when
measuring and ordering your rings.

Buying a gift:

Lucky them! There are several ways you can find out your recipient’s ring size:

1) Measure one of their rings.

Secretly borrow a ring of theirs that fits well (ideally a ring worn on
the same finger as the ring you’d like to purchase, as fingers can vary a
lot) and trace the inside circumference on a piece of paper. Then
measure the diameter of the ring. The measurement will correspond to a
ring size – check out our ring size guide.

2) Pop to the shops.

Secretly borrow one of their rings and ask a jewellery shop to measure
the size for you. Again, try to borrow a ring that you know fits them,
and ideally which sits on the same finger as the ring you plan to order.

3) Phone a friend.

Ask a close friend or family member if they know your recipient’s ring size. Just be sure to remind them to keep it a secret!

Hydrothermal gemstones are created using the natural convection powers of heat and gravity, just as they are in the earth. Like lab-grown diamonds, hydrothermal gemstones offer a sustainable alternative that is physically, chemically and optically identical to their mined siblings.

Lab-grown diamonds are produced in a very tightly controlled laboratory environment, designed to perfectly mirror the conditions in which mined diamonds develop deep below the earth’s surface.Starting with a diamond seed and an external source of carbon (the key molecular component of diamond), extreme pressure and temperature is applied, allowing the carbon source to grow on the diamond seed, atom by atom and layer by layer. This process creates a laboratory-grown rough diamond that can be cut and polished in exactly the same way as mined diamonds.According to the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), “a lab-grown diamond has essentially the same chemical composition, crystal structure, optical, and physical properties of diamonds found in nature”.Conflict-free, safe to produce and every bit as dazzling as mined diamonds, these incredible jewels are an exciting and sustainable way to wear your heart on your sleeve. Or your wrist, or your finger.

Consumers often translate synthetic into ‘fake’ or ‘look-a-like’ and associate it with such materials as Cubic Zirconia or Moissanite. But lab-grown diamonds are chemically and optically identical to earth-mined diamonds. That’s why the FTC (the Federal Trade Commission in the US) has recommended the term ‘lab-grown diamond’ and ruled against the term ‘synthetic’.

3) Choose the metal: Our jewellery comes in 925 silver, 18k yellow, rose or white gold, and 950 platinum.
4) Decide on the stones: We offer sustainable mined diamonds FG/VVS, lab-grown type 2A diamonds, or coloured hydrothermal as well as sustainable mined gemstones.
5) Complete your order and payment.

Your codebyEdge jewellery is made to order for you, so we don’t have that exact piece in stock. However, you can create a virtual version of your codebyEdge jewellery for free, using our online Code Studio. While we have made every possible effort to get our Code Studio to render images as accurately and in as much detail as technology permits, there might be slight differences in colour and other physical characteristics when you see your finished jewellery.

We strongly encourage you to visit the product gallery or the relevant collection page (Amanti, Aquafiore and Mayfair) to see real photographs of similar products. These will give an even more accurate impression of the colours and physical characteristics of your jewellery.

We ship using a selection of different logistics companies, including Royal Mail, DHL and FEDEX. You will find details of the courier entrusted to deliver your code by Edge jewellery in your shipment confirmation email. Some of our courier also offer you the ability to track your shipment.

Each piece of code by Edge jewellery arrives in beautiful, branded product packaging. But it is shipped to you in a discreet, non-branded, plain white package. We like to think opening the shipping box to reveal the branded interior packaging is all part of the unboxing experience. When gifting a piece of code by Edge jewellery, you have two options: either remove the invoice from the outer package and gift the enigmatic white box, or remove the shipping packaging and gift the jewellery in the branded box. The choice is yours!

Yes, your items will be fully insured through our chosen logistics company, until you sign for the delivery of the item.

Our target is to get your codebyEdge jewellery to you within 3 to 4 weeks. However, shipping might sometimes take a little longer due to customs or other formalities.

Once your order is shipped, we will send you a shipment confirmation email, which in most cases – depending on the logistics provider – includes a tracking number. Please keep in mind that the tracking service is provided by our logistics partner, and we don’t have any control over its accuracy and/or availability

While we will always attempt to cancel your order or make the requested changes to your design, this may not always be possible due to the speed with which orders are processed.

Unfortunately we are unable to cancel or amend any orders that have already reached ‘In Production’ status.

Your order may have been cancelled for a number of reasons, such as issues with your payment or delivery address. If your order (or part of your order) is cancelled and payment has already been taken, then the appropriate amount of money will be refunded to you. Refunds are completed within 14 calendar days, but this may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

We don’t believe in fast fashion; true luxury means taking your time. To minimise waste, maximise sustainability and ensure brilliant quality, all our jewellery is handmade to order at our partner workshops in Italy. The handiwork involved is incredible, with painstaking attention to quality and detail. This means our bespoke pieces take between 4 and 6 weeks from design to delivery. But we promise they’re worth the wait.

Depending on your chosen product, your combination of precious metals and stones, and subject to workshop capacity, on a limited number of occasions we might be able to fast-track your order.

Shortly after placing your order and subject to your payment clearing, you will receive an order confirmation. Please check carefully that it:
– Shows the right product;
– Includes your hidden message; and

Over the next six to eight weeks, while our Italian artisans create your piece of codebyEdge jewellery, you will receive up to five progress updates via email.

Once your jewellery has passed our internal quality assurance process, we will send you a shipment confirmation with a tracking number.

During the six to eight weeks that it takes to hand-craft your piece of codebyEdge jewellery, we will keep you informed via email.

We also encourage you to sign-up for a codebyEdge account. This will allow you to follow the progress of your piece of jewellery while it is created, in the ‘MyAccount’ section of our website.

1. To be eligible for warranty service, the original purchase receipt or proof of purchase must be presented.

2. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, improper handling, or normal wear and tear.

3. Any alterations, modifications, or repairs done by unauthorized persons or entities will void this warranty.

4. The warranty does not cover damage to gemstones or diamonds, as they are natural materials and may have inherent characteristics.

5. If the exact materials used in the original piece are no longer available, we will work with you to find a suitable replacement or offer store credit.

6. Shipping costs for warranty service will be the responsibility of the customer.
